Biography
Blank Statements is a small Fishing Village on the on outskirts of Town. A toxic wasteland where the last remaining residents worship a Woman Eyed woman with a smoke machine and a PA. These are their stories....

TAMSEN

I was the original flash in the pan
It was pre-Teflon and my flash took years to scrub off
I left the fire the night Frankie moved to Hollywood
That was the last time we saw each other
500 miles was just too far away
I got a gig chasing a domesticated goose around a velodrome
Everything’s a sleeveless errand when your wearing a singlet
And live in a tent with eleven illegitimate kids
all named Sharona

CLAUDIA
I went to this restaurant. The food was good but then waiter leaned in close and whispered....This is the season for death....and then carved a pentagram into my pizza and then nobody else would acknowledge I was there
From that day everything changed

STEPH
The shelves in the warehouse collapsed
Everyone thought I was dead
I ate my way through 156 loaves of white bread only to find my phone was out of battery
As the Polish Shift workers came and went
I finally settled on a name for my unfinished novel

JULIA
I’ve always hopped on one leg to avoid ill fortune
But now
in the midday sun
It seems that my luck has finally run out
A drunk dressed as a vulture hands me a flyer
‘Six Tarot cards you never want to see’
It’s peak hour and my suitcase smells like potato salad
